American Association of Teachers of Turkic Languages (AATT) Bulletin
AATT invites scholars of Turkish and Turkic languages and cultures to submit articles and reviews on the general theme of "Acquisition" for the Winter 2013 issue of the AATT Bulletin. Under that theme, the editors are interested in topics ranging from media and technology in the classroom, language instruction materials (including apps and websites), methodologies, study abroad, immersion, and assessment to linguistics, literature, and culture for our upcoming edition. Deadline for submissions: September 1, 2012.
Submissions should be in English and not exceed 3500 words.
Manuscripts should follow the Chicago Manual of Style. Authors should use endnotes instead of footnotes. There is no need to send a separate bibliography. Double-spaced Word files may be sent as e-mail attachments to the AATT editor, Erdağ Göknar: goknar at duke dot edu
The AATT Bulletin aims to foster communication among scholars of Turkish, Azeri, Kazakh, Kirgiz, Tatar, Turkmen, Uyghur, and Uzbek. It is published annually, under the auspices of the American Association for Teachers of Turkic Languages, and with support from Indiana University Ottoman and Modern Turkish Studies Chair.
