The 2012 Delaware Valley Deutschfest will take place March 16-17, 2012, at the Diamond Ridge Camps and Conference Center in Jamison, PA. The theme is Musik verbindet die Welt.
This two-day event is an opportunity for your students to meet and discuss with other German students in the chapter, showcase their hard work in the German class through competitions and creative projects, meet with local college representatives, and most of all, use their German outside of the classroom to better understand the greater purpose behind language learning.
The event is open to any students enrolled in a Chapter 47 school in grades 8-12 currently enrolled in German I, II, III, IV, or V/AP accompanied by a teacher or teachers from his or her school who are current members of AATG.
The pre-registration deadline is December 2, 2012.
