The Southwest Association of Language Learning Technology’s 2012 conference will take place March 23-24, 2012, at Arizona State University. The theme is “Language Learning Centers and Internationalization: Supporting Global Connections.”
The organizers welcome proposals for presentations within the following topic areas as they relate to the globalization and internationalization of institutions and curricula:
Presentation of original research - action research, CALL, SLA with a technology emphasis, ESL/EFL, etc. (30 min.)
Presentation of technologies, processes, and approaches to international collaboration and outreach. (30 min.)
Presentation of language learning center management, outreach, programs, etc. (30 min.)
Panel discussion on any of the above topics (maximum of three respondents). (45 min.)
Presentation by commercial entity (vendor, sponsor, etc.) (30 min.)
Workshop including Q&A, hands-on practice, etc. (2 hours)
