Phillips Collection Exhibition Highlights Kandinsky Works

The exhibition Kandinsky and the Harmony of Silence: Painting with White Border runs through September 4, 2011, at the Phillips Collection, in Washington, D.C. The exhibition provides a fascinating, in-depth look at the creative process during the five months leading up to his 1913 masterpiece Painting with White Border.

Following its presentation at the Phillips, Kandinsky and the Harmony of Silence: Painting with White Border will be on view at the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum in New York from Oct. 21, 2011 to Jan. 15, 2012.
