Innovations for English Learners: Explore STEM Through Reading and Writing in Two Languages

The latest feature in NCELA’s new series Innovations for English Learners (http://www.ncela.gwu.edu/content/30_innov ) showcases STEM topics and reading and writing in two languages with a new publication from the National Writing Project entitled Water Wonders / Las Maravillas del Agua. Suitable for children aged 6-8 years old, the book follows Sydney and Symon Starr as they ask questions, conduct experiments, and write about what they find.
