Job Description

The Center for Applied Second Language Studies (CASLS) is an interdisciplinary research center at the University of Oregon. CASLS is a recognized leader in world language assessment, professional development, and leveraging technology to enhance language learning. CASLS’ reputation for excellence is based on innovation, close partnerships, and a focus on practical tools to help students learn languages.

The East Asia Special Programs Coordinator provides language pedagogy and curriculum design support for online language learning programs in Chinese and leads the coordination of programs that bring students from East Asian postsecondary institutions to the University of Oregon to study and, in some cases, participate in internships in local K-12 schools.
