As language educators, we have the opportunity to integrate an array of 21st Century Skills into our curriculum through innovation, creativity and critical thinking. These skills provide opportunities for learners to develop strong interpersonal skills and set a stage for lifelong learning. This day long workshop focuses on addressing the needs of our students as digital natives by providing a series of sessions for K-8 foreign language teachers that offer examples of 21st century resources for use in the foreign language classroom. Participants will leave this workshop with suggestions to ensure that language communities continue to engage the world.
