Online Dictionary Assisted Reading Tool for English Language Learners

Your students can past any passage into this online application. Then they can double-click on any word and a small window will pop up with its definition at the Free Dictionary website.

    I successfully pasted in an article from the NY Times, clicked "read it here", and then clicked on words--nothing happened. Is there another step?

    You have to double-click on a word for a new window to pop up. Probably either you're not double-clicking, or else pop-up windows might be blocked on your browser. I hope that helps!
