The Program in Classics at the University of California, Davis seeks a lecturer to teach Hindi in a new and growing program for the 2011-12 academic year. The lecturer will teach eight courses over three quarters, September 22, 2011 - June 14, 2012.
Applicant must have an M.A. or a Ph.D., or be A.B.D, preferably in Hindi or a related field. Applicant should have experience teaching Hindi as a second language at the college level.
Position will remain open until filled. Review of applications will begin on August 30, 2011.
