The 18th Annual BEEMS Conference will take place at the Undergraduate Learning Center (UGLC)/UTEP, in El Paso, Texas, March 24-26, 2011.
The selection committee welcomes proposals for presentations focusing on best practices for English Language Learners (ELLs), implementing effective two-way dual language bilingual programs, presentations on innovative initiatives, and creative visions for teaching and learning to effectively prepare English learners for tomorrow’s world. Proposals should highlight new pedagogical ideas through these excellent presentations, active demonstrations, and engaging conversations.
