Frenglish.com has short news articles written side-by-side in English and French, with audio of the article being read aloud in French. The website suggests the following sequence: first, listen to the audio file in French you will find at the end of the article without reading the French script. Then write down what you can understand and compare with the French script. Finally the English text will help you to see how we can translate some expressions or words into French.
