Call for Presentations: Eureka Conference for Elementary and Middle School Ancient Studies

Eureka Conference 2012
When: May 11-12, 2012
Marion Gerrish Community Center (Derry, NH)

At Eureka, elementary and middle school educators gather to learn not only from each other, but also from other experts in the field of ancient studies. The focus is on pedagogical excellence in teaching about the ancient world.

Sessions are connected to state curriculum frameworks.

2012 Theme: ROME. Presentations and activities at Eureka 2012 will focus on ancient Roman civilization - from politics and family to hobbies and mythology. Other cultures, including ancient Greece, Egypt, Mesoamerica, and Japan, may be included.

Proposals may concern this year's theme (Rome) OR any ancient culture. Proposals are due by February 1, 2012.
