TOPIC:DEUTSCHLAND 20 Jahre nach der Wende:

LESUNGEN UND DISKUSSIONEN MIT DEUTSCHSPRACHIGEN AUTOREN

In the past the following authors have read for us (just a selection) Herta Mueller, Zafer Senocak, Richard Wagner, Thomas Brussig, Ingo Schulze, Helga Schubert, Daniela Dahn, F.C. Delius, J. Schaedlich, Aras Oren, Joochen Laabs, Erich Loest. In 2006 Zehra Cirak, Lutz Rathenow, Katja Lange-Mueller read for us. We will not know until end of Marach 2010 who will read, but all authors will be of outstanding calibre.

Location of seminar: GLS Language Center in Prenzlauer Berg, (Kastanienallee 82, Berlin, Germany).
Expenses: $ 475.-- plus round-trip transportation + lodging. The seminar fee includes lectures and three lunches, and the reception on June 27th.

Eligibility: teachers and Professors of German language and literature, German Studies professors, graduate students.

Excellent command of German is necessary.
