Advocacy and Articulation in Japanese Language Education:
A Workshop for K-16 Teachers
April 30, 2011
IUPUI — Indianapolis

Registration deadline: March 25, 2011

In this environment of shrinking resources, it is crucial that Japanese language teachers know how to advocate successfully for their programs in their own districts and strengthen articulation within the K-16 school system. To guide the discussion of advocacy and articulation and lead participants in hands-on sessions, the organizers are pleased to welcome Ms. Maki Watanabe Isoyama (Senior Program Officer, The Japan Foundation, Los Angeles) and Prof. Motoko Tabuse (Dept. of World Languages and Honors College Faculty Associate, Eastern Michigan University).
