The Department of Spanish and Portuguese at San Diego State University invites applications for an Associate Professor in Spanish linguistics and/or Spanish Language Acquisition (SLA) to direct Spanish Language Program from August 2014. Other areas of interest, preferable but not required are descriptive linguistics and the pedagogy of Heritage Learners.

The successful candidate will serve as Director of the Spanish Language Program and teach undergraduate and graduate courses.
