Qatar Professional Development Workshops

Through a generous grant from the Qatar Foundation International, Concordia Language Villages is able to offer two Qatar Professional Development Workshops for current and future teachers of Arabic. This project will bring together K-16 Arabic language teachers from across the United States in two exciting opportunities to participate in professional development programs this year. The spring 2013 workshop (April 25 – 28, 2013) will be entitled: “Integrating the Common Core and 21st Century Skills into Units of Instruction for the Arabic Language Classroom.” The fall 2013 workshop (October 10 – 13, 2013) will be entitled, “Strategies to Increase Proficiency of Arabic Language Learners.”
