Brian Paltridge from the University of Sydney and Sue Starfield from the University of New South Wales have been contracted by Routledge as editors for a new book series, Routledge Research in English for Specific Purposes. Books in the series will describe original, cutting-edge research and be aimed at researchers, academics and research students with an interest in the particular area. Areas covered in the series will include, but not be limited to, multimodality and English for specific purposes; English as an international language and English for specific purposes; English in the workplace; corpus studies and English for specific purposes; vocabulary and English for specific purposes; technology and the teaching and learning of English for specific purposes; aviation English and English for specific purposes; intercultural rhetoric and assessment and English for specific purposes.
Enquiries regarding the submission of proposals for books in the series should be sent to Brian Paltridge (brian.paltridge at Sydney dot edu dot au) and Sue Starfield (s.starfield at unsw dot edu dot au).
