The Japan America Society of Minnesota is dedicated to bringing the peoples of Japan and the United States closer together in mutual understanding, respect, and cooperation.
Activities of JASM include events including a New Year celebration in January and a lantern lighting festival in August; a Japan speaking club and a “Kanna Club;” a knowledge competition for high school students in Minnesota and Wisconsin; a scholarship for undergraduate students; and presentations for K-12 classes.
